AEG Environmental provides quick and focused response to any environmental emergency. Our emergency response telephone service (410-494-7587) is staffed 24 hours per day by attendants trained to launch the AEG Environmental Emergency Response Team. Within minutes of contacting AEG, an experienced and trained Incident Commander will be in contact with the customer and en-route to their site. The Incident Commander will assess the scene and mobilize the equipment and personnel required to mitigate the situation. We have an established strategic communication plan and contingency plans for any type of environmental emergency.
In order to prevent accidental exposure to the hazardous materials being remediated, AEG Environmental will isolate the spill area and establish strictly adhered to zone boundaries in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local regulations. If necessary, we will employ a security force to ensure that only authorized personnel enter the designated work area. Taking these precautions prevents further spreading of the contamination and accidental exposure to employees and the community.
Our emergency response experience includes contaminant source control and containment; excavation and removal; thermal treatment; wastewater treatment; decontamination and decommissioning; hazardous material spills, fuel spills, waste transportation; and waste disposal. A select number of our emergency response clients are as follows: US Air Force, US Postal Service, McCormick & Company, Inc., ABC-NACO Corporation, Goldwell Cosmetics, London Fog Industries, Trans Tech, and BP Solar.
